| John Overton writes Search the internet for goddess and you will find Mary Magdalen everywhere, and links to all manner of Egyptian, Indian, Tibetan and Polynesian female deities, goddesses and temple priestesses. You will also find dire warnings about "dabbling in the devil's work." So, when I write these words I am aware that not everyone can take them with equinimity. Yet, in the honouring of the goddess and the temple priestess, there is an intense rebalancing and re-empowering of humanity in accordance with the aspect of Divine Will most needed today. In the re-instating of the yin and the female as the cradle of wisdom and creation, there lies our future. Those teachers who are able to intuit and also demonstrate by integrative physical research, the stories of the divine feminine's demise over thousands of years, and the resulting war-paradigm that has plagued our Earth during this time, speak eloquently and persuasively about the need to return to the honouring of the female as the deepest creative principle, without which all our dreams of the golden age will come to nothing. The manifested result of the human energy loss and imbalances of old from diverse fear-based religious rules resulting in temple-closures, witch-hunts and all manner of versions of the Stepford Wives throughout history, has actually led to the dis-empowering of the divine spark, rather than the establishment of lasting faith, hope, love and peace. Humankind, instead of being inspired by a loving, infinitely compassionate Godhead whose greatest desire was to share Her everything, so that She might experience life in its fullness through the gift of physical creation and experience, have found themselves cowed into slavery, conformity, competition, feelings of inadequacy and menace, by belief in the inevitability of an imminent death after a short Earth-life of “deserved” suffering, with the looming possibility of eternal damnation at the hand of a whimsical male despot-God. Luckily, there have been gurus, saints and mystics down the ages who have understood the compassionate, deeper cosmic Truth, and, thanks to (often covert) paganism, shamanic traditions, hidden practices in alchemy and esoteric spirituality, and the parts of this Earth that have avoided being swamped by male-dominated "god-conversion," the knowledge and practice of the earthy compassion of God/the Goddess has never totally disappeared. Now is the time for the celebration and re-embodiment of the goddess. In union with such celebration, is the call to us upon Earth for the reinstatement of temple priestesses and goddesses - a call for those whose innermost soul purpose is to be the divine com-passion they wish to see, living this earthly reality as touchable God-connectors between Earth and Heaven. This reinstatement and celebration is not just for women. The Divine feminine spark is also present in those men who dare to live by Her vibrant inspiration (often called Holy Sophia, or Wisdom.) Worlds and levels and layers of this Wisdom are found in our body, especially through sacred practices of intimacy as a transformative pathway. So the work of the temple priestesses and priests, of goddesses and gods, requires much thought and preparation, and a willingness to open up to new depths of personal honesty and integrity. The work that you Neo-goddesses and Neo-gods are now called upon to do, is nothing less than to restore Divine Earth- and People-energies to their authentic Ecstatic fullness. This is alchemical work connecting to a long-forgotten history - as in ancient legend when divine pleasure within human nature was to be reinstated - See! I make all things New! On other pages of this site we talk about how the part of our body encradled within Hieron Osteon, the sacrum, is the Source of Divine Essence within, Heaven-given and part of our inalienable birthright, the earthly womb of our soul. Ready and waiting, shining like the Earth’s crystal core, it yearns to be of service to humanity again so that we may experience god-ness in all things. Our answer to Earth’s call for the re-empowerment of Humanity requires us first to be opened by our own Purification, Initiation, Attunement, Healing and reconnection with deepest Sensuality - the rekindling of our own Divine Fire. As Neo-goddesses and gods we are then able to be instruments of the re-kindling in those who come to us to facilitate their own inner transformation. In deepest physicality and prayerful, sacred oneness, we are conduits of access into multidimensional connection through com-passion (passion with) and letting go into Life Transformation at ever expanding levels, once again fulfilling the Old Testament prophesy in the psalms - “I have said ye are Gods!” The Goddesses and Gods of Christal Temple are neophytes of an old tradition, which, in male-god dominated societies has been misunderstood and misnamed, maligned and reviled. Temple priestesses and priests of this tradition have been branded as blasphemers, witches, sorcerers and whores. The time has come to reclaim this work for Holy Wisdom, for the embodiment of the wholeness of Holy Sophia in our lives. By doing this, we are also healing the hellish dismemberment of an Earth Life, separated from itself into disconnected parts. In the ancient spiritual healing traditions, Music, Trance, Sexuality, Worship, Earth-Heaven connection, Dance, Astronomy and Astrology, and Sisterhood and Brotherhood were all One - a sacred Oneness with the Divine. Here at Christal Temple, the Goddesses and Gods are again the initiators into healing, touching the Earth and Heavens and those who come to us to find their re-empowerment. As we facilitate, dance and bathe and wash and massage, and touch and serve, enable the deeper Breath and rekindle the Inner Fire, hold the Sacred Space where Wisdom is found, and rejoice at being a source of gentle healing Magick, we become who We truly Are - Instruments of Divine Unconditional Love. These are Christal Temple’s pathways. As we ourselves learn more of what we shall share with others from the rich generosity of the Goddess and Her healing, abundant Universe, so new attunements and discoveries will be part of our lives.
